You know this year didn't turn out quite like I was expecting it would. Except I think overall the good is more than the bad so I can't complain!

Rhiannon and I went exploring around the school today! Well it wasn't really exploring as looking at all the places we've been in the past 7 years. It's so weird to think that I won't ever study in the Library again or be in the Greenhouses or...anywhere really! I'm definitely going to miss it here I think.
Except I'm also really excited to go home and see all my family and then go flat hunting with Syl and watching the Muggle Life with Rhiannon and hopefully starting Healer Training and everything.
I think it's just hard to believe it's almost all over. |

I love birthdays! And sweets and presents and notes from my family and my b all of you!
I had such an amazing day yesterday!
I hope we catch all the goldfish-frogs (goldfrogs?) that escaped from Transfig today. It would not be good if they got stepped on or hurt or something! |

Healer week was loads of fun and I learned a lot except I'm so glad to be back. There's an awful lot to catch up on!

So much to say!
First of all, I would like to congratulate Ravenclaw on taking the Cup this year. Well played, Ravenclaw, and well Captained, Maloney.
And so no one thinks I forgot, I would also like to congratulate those who wagered on Ravenclaw - Gen Boot, Matt Longbottom, Charlotte Macmillan, Madeleine Thomas and Patrick Wood - in our first ever Hogwarts betting pool. You will get your winnings soon! After Professor Hookum takes her percentage out, someone better than me at maths will divide everything in the pot based on how much you put in to begin with and since there were so few of you you probably made a tidy sum each!
And also, I want to say well played to the Gryffindor team. It was a pleasure playing against you this afternoon! You're definitely formidable opponents.
Hufflepuff, you rock! I'm so lucky to be part of such an awesome team and have such awesome cheerleaders and supporters.
And finally! Next week is Healer shadowing and it's only 8 days until my birthday!

So how is this popular vote thing supposed to work anyway? I mean for those of us who are of age but at school because it wasn't like this summer when I was at home. Are they going to let us leave to vote? Or give us ballots to owl in?

The thing with the bad smelling roses was so not cool (you were behind it, weren't you Josh Ives?) except I guess that puts us even with the honking daffodils and the singing shamrocks.
Sometimes I wish I was still a second year like Sara. I mean, the things with being older are great like sha boyfriends and Quidditch and Apparating so I probably wouldn't want to really but I was quizzing Sara for her exams and the stuff she's going to be tested on is so easy!
I really really don't know how I'm going to remember everything. It makes me scared that I won't do good enough. |

I finally finished making flash cards on every single plant we've studied in Herbology in every year at Hogwarts! I already made Rhiannon quiz me a bit while I was making them and it's cool because sometimes she gave me names and I had to tell her the properties and other times she told me the properties and I had to name the plant.
And probably helping to move all those plants on Sunday helped too.
I will get an E on that exam if it kills me. And I should probably figure out something to help more with DADA.
My dad wrote to tell me what the Prophet was saying about Mr Shacklebolt. It's really really sad! I think maybe it makes my dad really sad too.
At least the dance was loads of fun! I hope there will be things once I leave school I can buy pretty dresses for too. |
